Practitioner LevelStrategy using Wardley Maps

For those who need to apply Wardley Mapping techniques to work effectively where strategic mapping processes, systems and trained people are deployed in the organisation.

Overview

The Practitioner Level builds on the Foundation, moving from recall and comprehension (Bloom’s levels 1–2) to application and analysis (Bloom’s levels 3–4). Where Foundation asks you to understand concepts, Practitioner asks you to apply them in context.

The Practitioner pathway is structured as 4–7 modules, each requiring 20–40 hours (3–5 days) of study. This modular approach lets you build capability incrementally across the full range of Wardley Mapping practice areas.

What you’ll learn

The Practitioner Level covers the same 8 topic areas as Foundation, but at an applied skills level. You will be expected to apply techniques, analyse scenarios, and demonstrate practical competence.

1Key Terms, Concepts & Comparisons
2The Wardley Mapping Strategy Cycle

Curriculum in Development

The full Practitioner Level curriculum is currently in development. In the meantime, we recommend starting with the Foundation Level syllabus.
